Nice.

After a very-early-morning grocery run, I made egg,sausage, Muenster tacos with homemade pickled onion and roasted jalapeño salsa, with some diced up jalapeño and mustard greens on top.

Turned out ok.

I hadnt been to this place since I was a kid, had heard a rumor they shut down after some IRS issues, and a seemingly convenient fire, but, nope, still going strong and really busy. Authentic 1980s 50s diner, 60 different syrup flavors

Yeah, or a combination. Now that I know they're still in business at a different location, less than an hour from where I live now, I'm going back. My parents used to take us there on birthdays or for good report cards, etc, but it had been like 20 years.

In my youth (60s’) this was a Vanilla or Cherry Coke or some such. Coke with flavor syrup squirted into it. Don’t know why it was always Coke they put the syrup in. Like the artificial Cherry Coke in a can ya get today but way, way better. Also good in the summer with a scoop of vanilla ice cream in it!
